Shaun Jones

DIRECTOR OF COMMUNICATIONS/ COACH: SENIOR 5/ TUMBLING INSTRUCTOR

Shaun has been involved in cheerleading since 1998, first as an athlete and soon after as an instructor for the Universal Cheerleading Association. He has competed on the national level multiple times as captain of the University of Illinois Cheerleading team. As a Head Instructor and member of UCA’s College staff, Shaun has choreographed numerous high school as well as college routines around the country. Prior to joining the Rocky Mountain Elite staff Shaun has coached multiple teams, including the Wurzburg Black Paws Co-ed (04), the Northern Illinois University Huskies All-girl and Co-ed (04-06), and most recently the Extreme Allstarzz Bulldog level 5 Sr. Co-ed (04–07). In addition to coaching and choreographing around the country, Shaun also brings 8+ years of judging experience on the local as well as national level, working as a judge for such prestigious companies as ATHLETIC CHAMPIONSHIPS, JAMFEST, UCA HICHSCHOOL, COLLEGE and ALLSTAR, CHAMPION SPIRIT GROUP and WSF. In addition Shaun adds to his credentials certifications in CPR, AACCA and USASF credentialing in tumbling, stunting and tosses, levels 1-5. Shaun is also a member of the V! ROC national staff, periodically travelling the country as a Master Choreographer and most recently has been named the Head Coach for the Co-ed Vars. cheerleading program at Highlands Ranch high school.
